Georgia Jennings Biography

Georgia Jennings, M.S.
Georgia Jennings began working at the PRC in 1999 when the budget was small and studies were few. Since then she has helped guide the PRC's growth in staff, expansion of studies, and development of community outreach. She began her career at Community Health Care Plan (CHCP) in New Haven, the first staff model HMO in CT, where her main objective was determining effective ways to promote health. Later she worked with physicians and other clinicians at the Yale New Haven Health System, again with the objective of finding promising approaches to health promotion in the increasingly complex world of managed care. She received the MPH degree from the Yale School of Epidemiology and Public Health.
