Maurice Williams
Maurice is the community outreach coordinator for the Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center. He has a strong community based backround from working and volunteering in the New Haven community for the past 15 years. He is a graduate of Eli Whitney RTVS where he studied electronics.
Maurice has served in the community in an advocacy role for many years. As an employee for the NAACP, he has fought for better health care by serving on the Health Committee and by helping to administer health fairs and discussions around New Haven. Maurice has also attended many national health conferences where he has presented information on ways to help with the disparity gap. He is also a member of the National Prevention Research Policy Committee to help effect change in policies on a large scale in the 33 Prevention Research Centers that serve the United States.
