Integrative Integrative Medicine Center:
A Novel Model of Integrative Care


The Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center is affiliated with the Integrative Medicine Center at Griffin Hospital (IMC). This is a center uniquely designed to bridge the gap between conventional and alternative medicine for a broad range of medical conditions. Few healthcare centers offer services like the IMC. The IMC is founded on principles of patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine. The patient is provided with evaluations that are holistic (consider the whole person) and based upon the review of the patient's case by the IMC clinicians including Medical Doctors (MD) specializing in internal and preventive medicine, a Nurse Practitioner, and two Naturopathic Physicians (ND) with expertise in a wide array of natural, complementary and alternative therapies.
