Coronary Risk Factor Screening
and Behavior Change in Women
Specific Aims/Objectives:
To establish a comprehensive cardiac risk factor
screening program for women. To compare the effect of
risk factor screening, with and without CT imaging of
the coronary arteries, on behavior change in women.
Current Status:
Recruitment is still active. Approximately 40 women
have been enrolled, and have completed their first series
of visits.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Female between the ages of 55 and 75 years of age
- Not currently using hormone replacement therapy
- At least 3 years post-menopause, naturally or surgically
- No history of heart disease or breast cancer
